CAVU Pictures released "Under Hellgate Bridge" to a massive amount of attention in the independent film world. Lions Gate Entertainment acquired all domestic pay-cable, homevideo, premium cable and broadcast TV rights to the film and IFM Associates acquired all foreign rights.

CAVU then released "The Holy Land" at the Angelika Film Center and it immediately became the top grossing film on a single screen in the US for two consecutive weeks. That's a major accomplishment for a new entertainment company.
